Blown in insulation is a better option for many homes. New construction allows for access that finished homes cannot provide.  The process starts with measuring your walls and attic area that needs insulation. Most attics require a value of R-30, R-38 or R-49, depending on your climate and location. Once you know the square footage of the attic and walls your installer can determine how much insulation you’ll need by calculation and provide you with a proper estimate for the installation.
